Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Sweden, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Sweden showcased varying performance trends in weekly downloads and revenue, as captured by Sensor Tower.

Skippo Sweden from Skippo Boatlife started Q3 with a weekly revenue of around $21K, peaking in mid-July at approximately $25.6K. However, it experienced a gradual decline, ending the quarter with about $2.1K. Downloads followed a similar trajectory, beginning with 601 downloads and peaking in mid-July at 1.3K before dropping to 94 by the end of September.

WeHunt from WeHunt Nordic AB showed a robust upward trend in revenue, starting at $2.5K and reaching $22.6K by the end of September. Its downloads also increased steadily, from 73 at the beginning of the quarter to 404 by the end. The app's active user base expanded from 275 to 568 over the same period.

Hitta Skog, developed by Ecotype AB, saw a strong start with weekly revenue of $984, climbing to a high of $7.8K towards the end of July. The revenue then gradually decreased, closing the quarter at $1.8K. Downloads followed a similar pattern, starting at 1.9K and peaking at 4.7K before falling to 1K by the end of September.

Navionics® Boating by Garmin Italy Technologies srl began Q3 with a revenue of $2.9K, reaching a peak of $6.1K in mid-July before tapering off to $624 by the end of the quarter. Downloads started at 390 and peaked at 504, eventually declining to 162. Active users decreased from 534 to 383 over the quarter.

Seapilot showed modest performance, with revenue starting at $1.5K and decreasing to $167 by the end of September. Downloads were low throughout the quarter, starting at 45 and ending at 18.
